Billy Madison
Do you find yourself unable to resist the hilariously romantic comedies of Adam Sandler? Well, Billy Madison is easily one of the best he has done. It is much funnier than it is romantic, but there is still romance at the forefront, so it qualifies for both.
Cast
Of course, the best part of the movie, Billy Madison, is the cast. The cast is sensationally led by Adam Sandler himself. He plays a rich child who has to go back and do every grade of school over again to prove he can run his father’s company. Since he has been a slacker his entire life, the whole process is funny and Sandler plays it well. Bridgette Wilson is Sandler’s love interest in the film and happens to be tutoring him along the way. She plays her sexpot role well and is stunning in the film. However, if the movie wasn’t a comedy, it would be unrealistic to think of the two together. Norm McDonald does a great job in supporting role as well and is quite hilarious himself.
Script
The script was written by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler, which instantly lets everyone know it is going to be hilarious. The two are both great writers and can come up with the funniest lines in the world. With Sandler’s great comedic delivery, there is really nothing they can write that wouldn’t be hilarious coming from Sandler’s lips. Overall the story is intriguing and will keep your attention. The audience is rooting for Sandler’s character in the end.
